About our Founder.
Hey, it’s me, Micaela. Entrepreneur. Interiors enthusiast. Mom. Wife. World traveller. I’ve landed here out of pure passion and a love for beautiful spaces and things. I recently sold 4 businesses then relocated from Toronto to Kelowna alongside my family and some dear friends. I’ve been enjoying the abundance of the Okanagan Valley — wild nature, great wine, friendly people and a dynamic real estate market.
So how did Edge Studio come about? While searching for my own home, I saw a gap in the market and decided to dig deeper. Homes should feel deeply personal, so why don’t real estate listings? You should be able to walk into any space and feel the life that’s lived there. Function, inspiration and a warmth of character - they make a difference to prospective buyers. None of the staging I came across felt inspired, if it was even there at all. I’m creating a new way to get your listing noticed.
This is not a corporate staging company. We’re here to shake things up and bring some EDGE to an industry that’s begging for it. Like a classic Thonet chair, our approach is rooted in timeless design principles, but what sets us apart is our ability to style spaces in a way which champions the undeniable tension between old and new.
